Technics SL-P1200 CD Player, fully restored.

- Electrolytic capacitors replaced with Nichicon Fine Gold, Muse, LKG.
- Optical block replaced.
- Mechanism fully disassembled, cleaned, and lubricated.

Cosmetically, it shows some signs of use and minor scratches that have been carefully touched up (see photos). Everything works like it should. This player is not designed for CD-R playback, though some CD-Rs burned at low speed play without issue.

In listening, the sound is balanced, punchy, and very analog. Originally developed for the professional market, it’s a gem for fans of disco, funk, or vintage electro. Music lovers will enjoy many hours of comfortable listening.

The user experience is original and enjoyable, with top-loading CD access and all controls on the top panel, a piece of CD history.
