Sound Oddity offers new HiFi creations or vintage HiFi elements refurbished and optimized according to the rules of the art. Based on Reunion Island, I receive equipment from all over the world and I ship worldwide. I specialize in the restoration of Japanese electronics and speakers from the 70s to the 90s. Over the course of the projects, I develop and market perfectly adapted spare parts.
When working on devices of high quality/technicality/rarity/authenticity, one must have great respect for their designer and for the product, as well as a desire to preserve the audio heritage. It is absolutely not a question of quickly tinkering to find the functional side to the detriment of any visual and technical logic. Repairs must be of high quality and it is in this approach that I have sought satisfaction in recent years. From trying to understand the operating principles to finding solutions through iterations and analyses, including measurement: it is about finding the most appropriate solution, by any means necessary. I bet a few years ago that this expensive approach would find its audience of rigorous enthusiasts. I can say today that I was not wrong as my work is so appreciated by my customers.
